Coming up soon is the 31st annual San Diego Thanksgiving Dixieland Festival. From Wednesday, November 24th to Sunday, November 28th, the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center turns into a mecca for the greatest jazz, dixieland and swing bands in the country. Each year, the event draws thousands and thousands of fans to the music that America invented.
Fans wait all year to attend the Festival. Some are locals from the San Diego and Southern California area, while some drive in from neighboring states. People come from all across the country as well as some other countries, for the chancce to be submerged in 5 days of exciting performances from some of the nation’s most recognized Dixieland Jazz and swing bands.
